Pamela Kisoka is a seasoned public health specialist with over 16 years of experience in managing and evaluating public health programs, particularly in HIV and Tuberculosis (TB) in Tanzania. Currently, she serves as the TB Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Advisor at the President's Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG). In this role, she leads the design and implementation of performance monitoring plans for the national TB program, guiding efforts to enhance data quality, reporting systems, and the overall effectiveness of TB interventions.
Pamela has a proven track record in providing technical assistance on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) for both government and international health programs. Her contributions include supporting the development of the current case-based electronic recording and reporting system for TB and Leprosy in Tanzania and playing a key role in TB epidemiological assessments that have been instrumental in shaping the country’s strategic approach to TB control.
Her previous experience includes senior roles at KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation and PEPFAR programs where she was pivotal in HMIS systems, data management, reporting, grant making, capacity building, data quality and operational research. Ms Kisoka has also been integral to the development of national M&E frameworks, tools, and guidelines.
Pamela’s dedication to public health is evident in her leadership in developing the People-Centered National Strategic Plan 2021-2025 for TB, and a key resource in TB mid and end term program review panels. Her insights and experience make her an asset in ongoing efforts to mentor and build capacity of health professionals.
