KNCV - Tanzania strives for access to high-quality and equitable, rights-based health services through resilient systems strengthening to end Tuberculosis and combat other emerging conditions of public importance.
We work closely with the Government of Tanzania, particularly the Ministry of Health through the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Program (NTLP) and the President's Office Regional Administration and Local Government.
Our focus areas include Disease Control and Prevention, Community Health System Strengthening, Health System Strengthening, Capacity Building, Research & Innovation, Global Health Security, and Health Innovations & Technologies.
KNCV - Tanzania is a Non-Governmental Organization formed out of the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation as the local entity in Tanzania. We focus on eradicating Tuberculosis and addressing other conditions such as Malaria, HIV/AIDS, neglected tropical diseases, waterborne diseases, and both communicable and non-communicable diseases by ensuring equal rights to access affordable and quality health services.

For over a century, the KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation has been a global leader in the fight against tuberculosis (TB), with its work touching many countries, including Tanzania. Since its early days in Tanzania, KNCV has played a key role in strengthening TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, collaborating with the Ministry of Health (MOHTZ) and other key stakeholders to drive progress.
